Postcards from… (and a giveaway)

Hippie dude, Brighton

Lobster rolls, Provincetown

Spices, Marrakech

Meditation in the park, Montreal

Poets Road, London

The Dark Hedges: 300 year old beech trees, Northern Ireland

All of these travels, and many many others, teach me about the world I live in and more about myself.

Hoping you are enjoying some gypsy adventures of your own (or are inspired to get out and have some)!

With love to you wherever you are ~

  • thank you for sharing these dreamy photos. would love to walk on the earth in india, brazil, and along the mediterranean (southern italy, greece, northern africa).

  • California Redwoods and meditating under their shelter.

  • two destinations of my dreams:

the tangible one: Ireland … to see/feel/smell the land of my ancestors.

the ethereal one: perfect self-love and acceptance that spills out to every.living.soul – all.the.time

  • beautiful photos! My travel dream list is long, but to name a few would be India, Galapagos and New Zealand.

  • i dream the colors of india…

  • I want to go to Bali for our 10 year wedding anniversary next February… putting it out there universe!

  • Honestly, I’d like to go pretty much anywhere but I think the French countryside speaks a bit louder than anywhere else.

  • leonie is a photography and a heart open goddess (not leaving a destination because although i have about 100 i already have her book and i love it and i want someone else to get a glimpse of her marvellousness)

  • Bora Bora, hands down. A little cliche probably, but the truth.

  • I have two dream destinations: Japan and Ireland. I’m Irish, so I’ve always dreamed of visiting Ireland. Of all the homelands of my ancestors, I’ve always felt the most spiritually connected to Ireland.

And as I’m obsessed with all things Japanese, I would love to visit Japan. I want to go to Kyoto to see the old capital, the modern Japan in Tokyo, and I want to see the countryside and the mountains and forests.

  • INDIA.

Above all other places (and friends I’d love to visit), India is the place I am called daily to visit, to live, to breathe in the dirt and the incense and the colors and the sounds. India. India.

And I’m going to make it happen. Leonie, you’re such an inspiration to me!

  • I would love to travel to Morroco someday. But for right now, I would love to travel back to Michigan and visit my grandmother. Michigan is my favorite place in the world because it is home and I have not been back in a long time.

  • Leonie,

Your book looks beautiful! Missing your smile, Jen

  • I want to go to Fez because when I was a little girl I had a vinyl sticker book/record (yes, I am *that* old) that told a story of a man from Fez who wore a fez. It has always been a dream of mine to go there and take a picture of a man in a fez.

  • Hey Gypsy girl~ Love the new blog look~!!!
So YOU! beautiful in other words~~~

and well, my dream destination is
    hmmm.
    I’d have to say-
    Cambodia.

    Ankor Wat.

    xoxo

  • I’d definitely have to say the coast of Turkey. I’ve always had this burning desire to go there.

  • My son picked up a puzzle from the library of a waterfall- cascading into a green seamist pond surrounded by orange canyon rocks. Serenditpitious choice, as I had done an oil pastel picture of that waterfall in my 8th grade art class! Research led me to Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon- it takes a 10 mile hike to get there. My kids are still little, but I am planning the trip for five years time- I am definitely going to swim in those emerald waters, and the rest of the family is all for it! Havasu Canyon here we come!

  • I just love seeing all the places you’ve been since we first met in that mexican restaurant in San Francisco. You’re such an inspiration and a joy to be around, Leonie! Thanks you for being here and gifting us with your beautiful photos, your book and spirit! xoxx

  • Im dreaming of capturing the beauty around where I live right now AND then of course hope (though hope is not a strategy ;) that I will find my way to the small and seldom visited villages in Italy.

  • I’ve always wanted to go to Borneo to see the orangutans in the wild. And I want to bathe in the volcanic springs in Iceland. Oh – yes, and I’d love to take a spiritual journey to the closed country of Bhutan.
