Gone to meet my baby :)

Okay. Not really. Not yet. But I may be gone soon…

There is so much happening in my life right now! It’s a serious wave of goodness!

With the beginning of August tomorrow, I will be potentially going into labor, I will be getting ready to launch my new blog design and I will be featured on Artful Blogging! Not to mention all the gold at my other website with so many photography news and projects also unfolding.

So for August and September, I’m planning on a couple of months of guest posts here at Gypsy Girl’s Guide to keep some inspiration coming to you even while I’m gone. Please come by to check out our amazing contributors posts. We will have such an array of gypsy hearts posting here and you won’t want to miss it.

In the meantime, as long as I’m not having contractions, I will still be posting and looking forward to your lovely emails and comments. Soon after the baby comes, I also hope to be back posting pics of her cute face, her nursery and etc.

Lastly, if you are interested in contributing and posting here, please email gypsyintern@gmail.com with your pitch. We’d love to have you!

By the way ~ Stay tuned for the new blog design launch in the next couple of days.

Yay!

A creation from yours truly

lotus_necklace_500.jpg
I’m so excited to share with you my collaboration with Shutter Sisters and Bel Kay designs: the “Possibility” necklace!
As you may know by now, the lotus means so much to me! It is in my website logo and design, it is in prints I sell, in my yoga mat and so on so forth. I just need a tattoo now :) It was also the omen I picked when I started this blog representing all my intentions for transformation. And guess what? It worked :) Now it is carrying over to my other site and business too! I truly believe in its power. It is a constant reminder that anything is possible when we reach for the light!
Head over to Shutter Sisters today to read more on my inspiration and participate in the giveaway. Or if you can’t wait, go straight to Bel Kai and get yours!
What do you think?

Another dream

There is only one path for the gypsy and that is one of complete wonder and unlimited dreaming!
So you know… The other day my husband and I were talking about our dreams and one of the things that we both would LOVE to create someday is a space that is devoted to chilling and connecting. In his dream it is a place with craft beers and music, and in mine, great coffee and art! Together we can have a place that is coffee/art house by day and beer/music at night. We were even saying it would be called “Cafe Bier”! :)
Our dream place would actually most likely be somewhere by a nice beach in Brazil, totally tropical looking and with lots of open space and nature weaving through rooms. I saw a place in Mexico on our last trip that really inspired the look for our little dream cafe.
BUT, having said that…

When I saw these images of Moomah in NYC (via Brunch), I completely fell in love with its urban modern charm. Isn’t it dreamy? The idea is the same in a way, to create a place to connect, make friends, make art, and in their case, bring your kids too!

As a momma to be, a place where you can bring your kids sounds fabulous to me! I know of a spot in Oakland that is like that too. But Moomah seems to have an everyday calendar to keep you and your kiddos entertained for life! And it so pretty!

Anyhow… I know I know… So many things going on already and I cannot stop thinking of more! Between growing a belly, a business, a family, two websites, wanting to travel the world, etc etc… Yes, I do want a cool artsy cafe where you would all come to teach your wonderful workshops and share a cup of tea or a latte with me :) I guess that is what it means to be living big and loving life, right?
Dream, gypsies. Dream…
