Wow. Thanks, everyone, for such warming thoughts about my blog and everything. How could I stop? Who else would pick me up like you do, when I feel down? I am incredibly humbled by your love and support. Really. I will save each comment in a 'healing' folder, so I can be reminded of the pure essence of good-hearted human nature! In the end, it is always better to choose authenticity regardless. We have one life to live and if we are not going to be ourselves in all of our mysterious complexity, who are we going to be, right?
Let's just keep going... As I said, the changes are going to continue and I can't wait to share them all with you.
For today I selected some delicious links for you to check out. They go really well with butter cookies :)
First, I wanted to share Dear & Yonder, a surf movie coming soon to a screening near you. This is a surf movie made by girls for girls. I must say I have a huge crush on surfer boys (hence my surfer hubby!) but err... frankly, surfer girls are even hotter! No, not in "that" way silly! Let me explain. Well. Actually I don't have to say anything. Just watch this trailer and you'll understand why surfer girls rock. These women in the video seem so free, so in touch with nature and their bodies, and they seem to be enjoying absolute bliss! Makes me want to jump in the cold water this weekend! I might just have to!
I also wanted you to check out my guest post at Oh Mishka, a lovely blog that hosts a weekly column with 5 ideas to brighten your day. Head over there to see a few ideas by yours truly (all of which I've practiced the last couple of days to get out of my own funk!) :)
Another fun discovery is this Twitter inspired application. Twistori takes tweets containing the words love, hate, believe, think, feel and wish and turns them into a beautiful stream of (mostly) positive Twitter thoughts! Do it at your own risk. There may be some [no so good] messages mixed in. It's random.
Via Uppercase I wanted to share the trailer of a new movie by one of my all time favorite directors, Pedro Almodovar. I must say his movies are a huge influence in my photography. I just love the way he captures emotion and color in such poetic ways! And who can resist Penelope? She is high on my list of best actresses and faces. Can you imagine how fantastic it would be to photograph her? As the critics said, be prepared to swoon! [I particularly love the shot of the woman running on the beach with the newspaper pages flying off!] Can't wait to see it all!

Have a good weekend, everyone!
Thanks again for the love ~
I love you right back!
