Manzanita Sunset, Lovebomb 2008.
"I looked out the at the sea and said,
Someone once told me that the waves are saying this:
What are your dreams, what are your dreams?
That may be true, but the waves cannot remember your dreams,
they can only call out for them.
So perhaps they are saying this:
Remember your dreams, Remember your dreams."
Ashes and Snow ~

Myriam's hands, Lovebomb 2008
This past week, I entered a circle of wild passionate women.
Each one brought with them a precious gift to offer...
Their most authentic self.
I let their creativity, their voice, their knowledge
And especially, their tenderness...
Just wash over me.
We walked on the beach.
We played around the fire.
We made spells and we shed tears.
I can't remember the last time I had this intense of an experience.
Finally, when it was my turn to offer myself up...
These women really squeezed my true essence out of me.
My dreams, my fears, my strengths, my doubts
Drop by drop squeezed out of my body.
Once emptied out,
I felt such lightness
that I could almost levitate...
Then, to my surprise
they offered me back
the full tall glass
of enigmas that I am.
Each sip of my own self.
Drink it, they said.
Sip by Sip.
Little by Little.
Your own sweet nectar.
Your pure spirit.
This is what you're made of.
Drink it up.
And so I did, and
As expected...
I'm humbled, overwhelmed and
I really need sometime to digest it all.
I need sometime to taste and enjoy
What it is like to be me.

That's right, you had your women's retreat, right? Sounds so fun! Luckily (for me), your words give me a glimpse into what you experienced. Must have been magical!
