Canyon Road Doorways, Santa Fe, Spring 2007.
"Where I was born and where and how I have lived is unimportant. It is what I have done with where I have been that should be of interest." Georgia O'keeffe.
I've just come back from a few unforgettable days in New Mexico. Although work and circumstances are keeping me away from you... I wanted to post an image and a gypsy quote that embody my recent adventures in the Santa Fe' area.
Missing this space and your comments dearly...
I will be back soon.
Update: I just found out there was a problem with my server last week and also with my comments publishing system! It all should be fixed now. But more importantly, this means you had not completely abandoned me... I'm much happier now that I saw a few of you did stop by! Phew! Sorry about that! =)

Welcome back and so glad to hear that you had a wonderful time in New Mexico. What a gorgeous photograph.
We would not abandon you. xoxoxo
See you soon.
P.S. Thank you again for posting your cleanse/detox info...I was able to incorporate some of it into what I did last week and it was invaluable. :-)

I'm taking that one with me this week - it is what I have done with where I have been that is important.

ooooh...the santa fe area is one of my favorite places in all the world. my parents grew up in a little town outside of Albuquerque and i was born in NM. there is nothing that gets me the way the desert does. i often think i'd like to live in santa fe one day...or in galisteo which is not far from there.

Yayy meloves Georgie O'Keeffe.... She was the first artist whose paintings I saw..whose works made me think: "Hey, that's exactly how I think of flowers & stuff...all those feelings on paper!" First artist whose paintings * inspired * me to paint. :-)
That really is such an adorable house. It's the kind of building you just wanna hug.

Great photo! I keep reading over this quote, letting it roll around in the sandbox of my brain. Thanks for the inspiration. It's all up to us, huh--we are responsible for it all. I like it.
